About our Program:

The UNI Technology Club also known as UNI ATMAE Club in the past, encourages students at UNI to be involved in today’s technology whether or not you are a Technology Major. This year we currently have one team going to the ATMAE Annual Robotics Competition and Conference in Kansas City, MO from November 7th-9th. The club has been on UNI campus for over 5 years and many more to come.

Our club gets students involved by attending conferences, local business tours, competitions, guest speakers, and equipment demonstrations. You also gain leadership and teamwork skills while being a part of this organization. This club can help build your resume as well.

The Club has been around since 2007 under advisor Jin Zhu. The UNI Team won its first competition in 2011 in Cleveland, Ohio. Since then the club has participated in ATMAE Competitions all around the US. The club lost its seniors the 2016-2017 year making there no team until the 2017-2018 school year when a group of students became interested in taking on the role of starting the club back up.

Our Club Today:

Currently our one team consists of 5 members; Jacob, Josh, Tabitha, Logan, and Kyle. This years focus is on growing the organization and putting on more events for the campus and club the 2018-2019 school year. We also plan on connecting with past alumni to bring in as guest speakers and meet current members. Currently as a team of low numbers, there are many opportunities to help as a new member. Use the “Contact Us” tab if interested in joining.
